| Dr.
Sean O’Brien is a fellowship trained Board Certified
orthopaedic surgeon. He specializes in orthopedic sports medicine
including anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and injuries
and disorders of the upper extremity (shoulder, elbow, and hand).
Dr.
O’Brien functions as the team physician for a number of
local and area high schools, colleges, and universities.
Dr.
O’Brien attended medical school at Oklahoma State University
College of Osteopathic Medicine. He received his medical degree
in 1996. His orthopaedic training was completed in Oklahoma
City through the Oklahoma State University. He received his
diploma in Orthopaedic Surgery in 2001.
Dr
O’Brien completed additional specialized training called
a fellowship at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida.
His fellowship was completed in 2002.
Dr.
O’Brien utilizes the most up to date surgical techniques
in order to get his patients back to their pre-injury status
as quickly and painlessly as possible.
